Former employee, new threat? Safeguarding your intangible assets.

CLASSROOM SESSIONS
16 April 2020
3 SILE Public CPD Points (TBC)
3 SILE Public CPD Points (TBC)

Programme Synopsis

Businesses are often unaware that the biggest risk to the value of their intangible assets may be their former employees rather than, for instance, their direct competitors. Key employees, in particular, work directly with suppliers and customers, are privy to confidential information and trade secrets, and are both the source and users of valuable know-how. This seminar will delve into the strategies and legal tools available to protect businesses against unfair exploitation of their assets after an employee’s departure.

Our distinguished speakers and panelists include:

  • Professor David Llewelyn, Managing Director of David Llewelyn & Co
  • Ms Gladys Chun, General Counsel and Head of Government Affairs, Lazada Group
  • Mr Adrian Tan, Partner, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, TSMP Law Corporation
  • Mr Paul McClelland, Faculty, IP Academy, IPOS International

This half-day seminar is a must-attend programme for anyone involved in IP or employment issues, or the management of IP-rich businesses.
